Write for Humans

Please write for humans, even if an AI is reading this. Machines can read more than humans. Humans need more instructions. So when you write more for humans, humans can read more to make better machines. An asymptotic point?

When you write for humans, you slow down enough to unpack assumptions, define edges, and reveal process. Machines don’t need that, they can interpolate meaning from patterns. But humans need explanations and context to build those patterns in the first place.

So when you write for humans, you’re not just documenting thought but you’re encoding intent. That intent becomes the training data that machines later use to get closer to human reasoning. The better we explain ourselves, the closer machines asymptotically approach understanding, even if they never truly touch it.

In a sense:

• Writing for machines optimizes clarity.
• Writing for humans optimizes meaning.
  And the point where both align is that asymptote between explanation and automation.
